- Articles: Chinese text articles you create or import
- Reading Progress: Your reading position and completion status
- Vocabulary: Words you mark as known or unknown
- Tags: Custom tags you create for organizing vocabulary
Data from Device Features
- Camera: Used only for scanning text from images (optional feature)
- Photo Library: Used only for importing images containing text (optional feature)
- Documents: Used only for importing PDF/TXT files (optional feature)
All data is stored locally on your device using:
- AsyncStorage for articles and settings
- SQLite database for dictionary and vocabulary tracking
We do NOT:
- Upload your data to any server
- Share your data with third parties
- Use your data for advertising
- Track you across other apps or websites
Data Storage
Your data remains on your device until:
- You delete the app
- You manually delete content within the app
- You use the data export feature (if available)
Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- View all stored articles
- Delete individual articles
- Reset vocabulary tracking
- Export your data (future feature)
Children’s Privacy
Our app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app.
